The first two weeks in February Freddie has been battling a severe case of pneumonia.  On last Sunday, Valentine's day, he took a turn for the worse with difficulty of breathing.  Dottie had to rush him to the emergency room at Dorchester General Hospital, in Cambridge.  After the ER Doctors examined him they said he had some type of severe lung infection.  They admitted him in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) so they could run some more tests.  For the next three days there have been several tests, alot of bloodwork and round-the-clock care.  The doctors are waiting for the results of the tests and bloodwork to help them figure out the type of infection he has.  They do know that the infection is in the lower lobe's of both lungs.

Yesterday, the 17th of February the doctors talked to Freddie and Dottie.  They said that Dorchester General has over 70 other patients with different types of infectionous disease.  They did not want to take a chance and expose him to other diseases, until they figure out what he has.  They thought it would be best for him to have home care.  The doctors arranged to have medical equipment sent to the house and instructed him and Dottie on how to do treatments.

Freddie is at home now, waiting for the results from all of the tests.  Please keep him and Dottie in all of your thoughts and prayers, as I will.
